Hi folks,

I work away from home for weeks at a time and tend to bring box sets with me pass some time whilst not on shift, however I am running out of ideas and hoping some of you will be able to pass some good recommendations that I can pick up relatively cheap. Below is a list of my recent viewings and what I thought of them to give you an idea of what I like.

Enjoyed
West Wing
Deadwood
Carnivale
Rome
House of Cards
Breaking bad

Okay
Newsroom
Boston Legal
Boardwalk Empire

Disliked
Sopranos
Game of Thrones
Stargate

Currently working my way through fringe box set, up to season 4 and loving every minute.

Starts of slow on the first series but soon gets into its stride defiantly worth a pick up if your into sci fi.

House of Cards
Homeland

Breaking Bad is absolutely superb, but may not be for you if you struggle with Sopranos. I'd still give it a look though.

Just updated that list as I forgot that I watched House of Cards and Breaking Bad, both excellent.

I tried to get into The Sopranos a few times, but never liked it unfortunately.

The Shield
Orange is the new black
Walking Dead
Fargo
Peaky Blinders (this was very good)
Hannibal
Sherlock Holmes
Elementary
Sons of Anarchy
Wolf Hall

I really enjoyed "Dexter" and even liked the ending....

How about "Battlestar Galactica" the newer one. One of my all time favourites...

Seen the first episode of The Following, last night. Others may be able to confirm whether it's worth continuing.
Have you seen Dexter? This was all the rage at the height of its popularity..
Do you like westerns? Into the West, was a decent effort and directed by Steven Spielberg.

Justified...pure tv gold dripping from every hillbilly pore

wynn duffy is now my favourite tv character ever
