Anyone using a wireless beard trimmer that has a pretty short cut? I'm looking at stubble length, I hate shaving. I'm looking at closest shave that'll leave like a 1-2 day stubble.

Budget: up to £50 (can stretch if worth it)

After having 2 shavers from Philips, I'm not a big fan of them...

Had Philips, Babyliss and this Remmington. Later my favourite by far. Very 'strong' (cuts through stubble easily) and a resilient bit of kit.

Is it this short...

or a bit longer?

The Remington Barba is the last man standing from the ones I've got - also had the Philips and Babyliss - I liked the Babyliss for some stuff as it was a little less aggressive than the Remington can be but in the end it went funny (and dulled fairly early on) and the Philips started to lose its charge.

You can get pretty close (easily as shown in that picture) but you might find a rotary shaver closer to what you want.

EDIT: In the end though most days I just whack some Gillette Fusion Proglide gel on, run a Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 around my face and jobs done.

I had a Wahl previously, but it was too 'aggressive' as it irritated my skin.

Edit:

I'm going to use a normal 3 blade shaver to do all the finishes, no matter what shaver I've used always couldn't quite get it straight. Not enough practice I assume? :p

0.4mm - 5.0mm settings in 0.2mm increments also 100% water proof so can be used in the shower
also can take the guard off for a stupidly close shave

I hate the new £20 rule, how much would delivery have been anyway?

Had a Philips thing and it didn't cut close enough for my liking. It was a decent one too at around the £60 mark. Put me off them for good.

Now I just use hair clippers. A number one suits me fine, and just do my whole head with it often enough that I don't end up looking like a meatball.

I use a "BaByliss for Men 7895U I-Stubble Plus"

Have tried a few others, remmington, philips etc. But I always end up going back to the Babyliss. The Mrs must have gave it to me about 4 years ago now and still going strong using it about twice a week

On a related note, any recommendations for trimmers for us older gentlemen who are starting to notice hairs in their noses and ears sticking out? I have a Wahl 5560 but it's a bit crappy tbh.

Looks interesting, I like the digital screen. I'll see how I get on with the Remington for now...
