Freeview - can only get 31 channels

Evening,

I've moved into a new house and while tuning my TV it only finds 31 channels, most of those are radio channels!

I moved the TV upstairs and it finds 101 channels but they're poor quality.

It doesn't find any HD channels, mostly just SD BBC!

Help :(

I know this area has all channels and HD as I moved about a mile and I had all channels in my last place.

This is a 3 year old house with an aerial in the attic.

your problem lies in your attic,the aerial could been moved, knocked or bad cable cornection somewhere. time to get your hands dirty
 
I managed to sort it! I took the socket off the wall and the connection was shocking. Took it apart and reterminated it! Fixed the problem, its also fixed the issue upstairs as well - I'm guessing the whole system is connected somehow!

sockets are probably daisy chained and that was the poor link!
