what do you all eat at work?

FF forgot to add that he cooks chicken for my lunch too ;)

I make mine at work though:

Food Dr pitta bread
Sometimes a slice of cheese & spread of light mayo
Salad
Half a breast of chicken
Sometimes a packet of crisps
Activia yoghurt

I eat a banana in the morning and a nectarine in the afternoon
Sometimes some popcorn

That doesn't sound like much ?!

That's because FF needs all the food for himself :D

you know one thing is for sure - it is SO MUCH more cheaper bringing your own food in!

I see people in this place spend £5-10 a DAY that's like up to £200 a month on food just for ONE MEAL!

Overnight oats for breakfast (yes, I eat that at my desk), a Pink Lady apple mid morning then a sarnie concocted of three slices of bread and whatever filling Mrs. Feek decides to bung in it. I top that off with a Total Fage yoghurt.

On Fridays I'll have a Total Fage yoghurt when I get into the office, about half nine someone goes out for either a McDonald's breakfast or a trip to the local sarnie shop for a bacon and poached egg roll. I'll have my mid morning apple and then overnight oats for lunch.

I make my lunch every day - saves me a fortune and allows me to get the calories I need and the macros I need.

Mixed salad leaves including spinach, rocket, and other young baby herb leaves.
Beetroot
Avocado
Cherry tomatoes
Cucumber
Roasted flaked almonds
roasted pine nuts
Either quinoa or bulgar wheat
Olive oil
300g diced chicken, cooked with jerk seasoning, or chilli seasoning. Sometimes it will be turkey or prawns. Just depends on my mood.

Typically around 800-1000 cals depending on portion size.

I also have Fruits and nuts to snack on during the day, as well as Protein & oats snack too.

Another 800 cals or so from the above snacks.

thanks this is the type of stuff I need to eat more of...

just written that down for my shopping list

how do you cook/season the quinoa? I love this stuff the most.

I notice zero carbs such as rice/pasta/bread - are they not essential for your macros?

Quinoa and bulgar wheat will be the main carb source in that meal.

A mix of salads I make, free lunch at the weekly lectures and some free Pret/Abokado/Itsu lunches with Market Force :D.

I work from home, so whatever I can be bothered to throw together at any given time. I do try (and fail) and keep some of last nights dinner back, but I normally munch on it later in the evening. I'll usually make enough to serve 3 healthy adults. I'll eat 2 servings for dinner, then the other around 10 :D I'm on a weight gain diet so inb4 "you fattie"

Lunch today was a smoked chicken with salad and a glass of rose. Now snacking on smoked salmon and oatcakes.

Big gainz require big eats :p
