Industrial noctua fan

Ok thanx for info guys. I will order the noctua when it's in stock.

I was looking at the vardars but higher rpm than yours. May aswell get the highest they offer if they are silent at their lowest operation rpm.

I'm thinking they should both be better than the stock one. Something like 3.1sp and 34db. The noctua is 8sp and 43db that has to be better and more quiet at 2krpm

Going by this test on ThermalBench, the Vardar pushes more air than the Noctua at the same noise level:

thermalbench.com/2015/07/10/darkside-gentle-typhoon-black-edition-2150rpm-120mm-fan/3/

So grab a Vardar instead & save yourself a few £££'s.

It seems the fully white EK Vardar don't come in 140mm variants, are there any similar coloured ones that are low noise that I could strap to my H110? I'd like it to match in aesthetics if possible.

The BitFenix Sceptre look good - Are they good enough for an AIO cooler?

I checked Enermax site as I knew they were making something new and found some crazy 3500 rpm fans there. And some other goodies for watercoling.
I like using non-mainstream stuff, so will most likely get those when I start building new PC in September/October - will try to test them and will let you know about the results ;)

i actually havent ordered the fan yet. not going to unless its instock so my missus dont get a surprise when it arrives lmao.

i will be going for the 3000rpm version of either just incase for some reason i need all that cooling. so the vardar has a very low bottom rpm which is a benefit. the noctuas are in my head because everyone swears by them. but im getting mixed signals now. vardar or noctua.

my missus told me to buy the more expensive one because if i dont and am disappointed with the other i will end up buying it anyway.

i will order as soon as they are in stock, probably the vardar now, from the info in this thread.

EDIT - http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-h60-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler

Fan speed: 2000RPM +/- 10%
Fan airflow: 54 CFM
Fan dBA: 30.85 dBA
Fan static pressure: 2.36mm/H20

above is the stock fan. so either of these will be so much better even if i use the lower rpm versions.

Yeah, I tried out some of their Twister fans last year and was pretty surprised. Solid build quality for the price at the time and decent performance and acoustics.

Have just outfitted a Carbide Air 540 with a bunch of 140mm Noctuas and have to say that they are the business. Premium product.

well ive ordered F4 120ER hope to get it in before the weekend and see what its like.

been saving my hwmonitor records so i know how hot the cpu is getting.

tips to clean a radiator? gave it a blast with my compressed air when i changed case and tbh it never really did much. is there a better way?

stuck the vardar on my H60 and my temps are down 5C.

didnt clean my radiator as i havent got any compressed air, i just gave it good blow (dont imagine another word lol) no dust seemed to move. will need to hit it with a tough brush to get the deep dust out.
