i just recieved my 980ti hof 8 pack form overclockers and am really disappointed so far. just want to check its not something on my end.
previously i had an asus r9 270 gpu. i uninstalled it with amd install manager then did a clean with DDU in safe mode.
i then installed the 980ti, installed latest win10 drivers 64bit. loaded up assetto corsa and i am getting the same performance WTf.
same story with warframe.
i have an fx8350 cpu oc'd 4.4GHz 8Gb corsair vengeance ram on asus m5a99fx pro rev2.0 mobo. corsair 650w gold psu. also the xtreme tuner that comes with the card will not load now either.
can anyone help?

What's the actual problem?
Have you tried running Heaven/3DMark to check the scores are roughly the same as what others have with the same card?

problem is i was expecting a lot more performance from a gpu that is over twice as powerful as the last one and at 4 times the price :(

It will be something a miss in your system, a 980Ti slaughters a 270 even with a processor as handicapped as the FX 8350.

I've had a 290X in my PC and tried a 980Ti, there was a vast improvement in everything and I too am using an FX processor clocked at 4.70GHz.

Your CPU is not the best but the 980Ti will slaughter a 270. I'd recommend a fresh install of Windows 8.1 or 10 with latest BETA driver from NVIDIA.

Also make sure Windows 10 did not over-write your graphics drivers with some poor version as Home Edition is known for doing such things and ruining performance.
