Batman Arkham Origins stuttering

I've been wanting to play the Arkham game recently, so I purchased City and Origins, City worked a treat, but as soon as I tried Origins, it was supper stuttery, especially in cutscenes, and when in the city, you would get stuttery FPS drops and the cards would downclock themselves.

Anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix it?

Have you tried a single card? Might need a clean driver install.

I have a 4K panel so multi-gpu is almost a must, but will certainly give it a try and see if disabling crossfire alleviates the inconsistent FPS
