Stripped Screws

Radox reporting in. Sadly the JB weld stuff did not seem to work. Tried it twice leaving it for 24 hours the first time and 48 hours the second time to dry and cure, doing all the sanding, and cleaning of surface before hand. the Screwdriver and sacrificial screw sadly twisted out before the screw itself moved.

Time to bring out the dermal me thinks! cheers for all the suggestions.

It might be worth trying a torque or Allen key head screwdriver or bits if you have any lying around. They can be really good at gripping rounded screws. Size just right to tap into the hole. Might be worth a try if you have any spare, while your waiting for parts anyway.

Quick steel that will stick to anything forever

Don't know if you want to risk it, you can try a centre punch and a hammer. Tap a dot somwere on the screw then move the punch at an angle so the point is going anti clockwise and tap it with the hammer.
