New Asus sabertooth board with pci-e 3.0

Saw on Asus website there's a sabertooth am3+ board with pci-e 3.0! I checked around and couldn't find it in stock anywhere. Also the box graphic says windows 10 ready. Must be coming soon...

Am3+ CPUs only support pcie 2.0 anyway

AMD's CPU and chipset only natively support PCI-E V2.

A motherboard may add a third party controller to enable PCI-E V3, though it will never be as good as the CPU/Chipset natively supporting it.

Regardless of this, any considering buying a brand new expensive Asus motherboard for AM3 is deluded IMO.

Far better to get an Intel CPU.
