AMD readies three new GPUs: Greenland, Baffin and Ellesmere

The fact that the 780 series jumped a lot and the 970 did not points the finger back at nvidia for holding those older cards back since dx12 shows the cards true potential without the drivers choking them. Say what you will about that but I think its clear as mud.

Yes and it may be the same for AMD's cards.

If the fury x was £480 it would be spot on, 980ti rivalling performance, cool and quiet.

Hopefully AMD will improve them further as the drivers mature and we'll see unlocked voltage soon.

The truth is, unless you are looking at frame rates you would be hard pushed to see a difference between the two!

In this thread and in the context this is not a neutral comment, its the sort of comment that would be expected from mmj_uk and like minded who do not pretend to be neutral.

Boomstick777 & Kaapstad are seen to be neutral because of there comments and there constancy.
It takes a long time and constancy to get rid of a negative stigma, just look at AMD drivers stigma and you dont do yourself any favours with such comments in your attempt to be seen neutral.

Your problem is you let your personal dislike of me get in the way of reading what I type and therefore your judgement will never be correct. With my comment at Flopper (who seriously favours AMD) was meant totally as jest but you didn't want to read it that way as it doesn't suit your dislike of me, so you read it as a fanboy comment. Maybe you just need to take a step back and lighten up.

I won't hold it against you but think before you jump in future.

I dont even know you so how could i dislike you, i judge you by what you type, but your jesting is always one-sided and in bad taste, the art to good jesting is knowing when and where which you fail to grasp.

To be fair this is spot on. There is a certain click on the GPU forum and was not surprised when over a number of posts greg's gang mention texting one another. :cool:

Anyway back on topic, not getting excited until release as the usual pre-build up hype only stirs the gremlins.

Jesus, is this necessary? I hope a mod clears up a few of these posts and for the record, I know Tonester and have met him. I don't ever knock anyone for being partial to a brand and that is their choice but don't miss the fact that I have a massive sense of humour and enjoy life to the full. I love tech/gadgets and will be getting Greenland and reviewing it and if it is better than Pascal, I will be sticking with Greenland (I stuck with the fastest GPU out of the Fury X and Titan X). Don't hate on me just because I speak the truth about GPUs and other hardware/games and I certainly don't have a gang lol.

I also am on my last strike, so I am sure if you push hard enough, you will get me gone perma :(

Need I ask what the last strike is for? You may think and say you are neutral but from your past comments and suspension it's fairly clear that anything said in 'jest' is always against AMD. I've yet to see you jest with Nvidia.

Yer, spot on. I posted facts, Stulid didn't like it, so removed that one post and I was on strike 2, first strike was for starred out swearing at final8y.
