Hi guys.

Just about to take the plunge and start my mATX build. I had everything set on a Parvum 2.0 although looking around the forums i am seeing a lot of people hyping up the Evolv (this would be the Micro ATX version). The Phanteks is about £40 cheaper which is a big plus for me with building on a budget and it looks a bit more roomy. This will be my first time using water so im guessing that would be beneficial too.

Just wondering if any of you guys out there have had one of each and your opinions on this? Worried if i buy the Phanteks ill regret not getting the Parvum.

Thanks.

I almost bought a Parvum before getting the Evolv. My other half has a X1.0 and I have built in several S2.0 Parvum's so know both quite well. I love the customization of the Parvum's and the looks but I wanted something substantial for LAN's and found the GPU mount on the Parvum's I have used a little loose. I also prioritise silence over cooling power so the Evolv is more insulated and quieter.

I had one last year. Parvum s not a silence case. It's very loud even with the quietest fans. On the gpu mounting yes its loose. I had to use cable tie to mount gpu.

Evolv all day long.

Yes I have a double ran in front and double rad in the roof. The front intakes and the top extracts. I may test turning the rear fan round as a intake to create positive pressure and feed the top rad some cool air.

When stress testing the roof when fitted gets very very warm to the touch.
