Insurance claim for a PC approved, need a build

my flat was burgled last week, my PC tower was nicked along with my PS4 £600 stone island coat and a few other bits, weird enough there was around 4k worth of stuff not stolen, including my £650 rog swift, XBox one, a watch worth £1500, jewellery 55 inch 4k tv ect

So I suspect they made off with what could be carried or was disturbed or maybe was too scared to spend any more time in my flat !

I'm 99.9% sure it was committed by a neighbour, I live in a new build private flat and last year the council placed a horrid family as a temp measure to house them due to homelessness, I invited this guy around as a friendly gesture and he was very impressed my my stuff!, no one else knew I owned all this gear, hence my suspicion, they left 3 weeks ago as they were moved off to a hostel, also who ever burgled me had access to the flat as you need a key to enter the communal area....

That sounds dodgy, at least nothing of personal value was stolen, I think?

Will they not just offer you the cash after you have given them the reasonable bill?

Then you come back and get the dudes to spend the cash more wisely?

they only hit my gaming room, dunno why they didnt get to the main bedroom, old bill saying they probably panicked or rushed the theft, Ive having a metal gate installed on my front door now.

reasonable? i had the lowest cover available, had a 10k cover and only claiming the 3k,, it was all official, I had 2 insurance investigators in my house who cross examined me against my original conversation, tape recorded and heavily scrutinised me !! no claims since policy taken out 8 years ago, ***** made me feel like the criminal, and to top it off, they checked my name against a insurance claim database, this is all to eliminate fraud but ive got nothing to hide, i just want my shizz back...
