Limited connection

Just done the win 10 update from 8.1 but can't get ethernet connection working says limited connection, works fine on 8.1, I have tried everthing I can think of tried on board killer network and Intel lan card no joy, when I drop back to 8.1 works perfect :confused:

anyone else have this issue? I'm running on an MSI gamer7 board

Hi apparently it is not a driver issue I have looked on the microsoft community forum and there are lots of other people with the same problem pita trying to sort this, Microsoft don't seem to know why this is happening so I will stick with 8.1 till they resolve it

Did you have anti-virus software installed? Uninstall it and restart PC then see if it fix limited connection.

Hi I have av disabled but still no go I'm getting some help from the Microsoft forum so hopefuly will get this issue resolved

I'm getting no network adaptors at all.

i.e.

Working fine on Windows 7 --> Upgrade to Windows 10, all network adaptors vanished.

Weirdly though, if I unplug the pc and then start up again, they come back. However then disappear again seemingly randomly.

If I go back to 7, it works fine, so know it's not a hardware issue.

yeah I'm convinced it's windows 10 because when I roll back to 8.1 it's fine, I've tried to setup my ipv4 manually but for some reason it will not accept the default gateway :confused:

I am stumped and I think Microsoft are too
