Since installing windows 10 my bios has gone back to default settings and has completely locked me out of any overclocking

I can't change anything to do with my cpu or memory :mad:

how is this even possible??

Technically it shouldn't be unless you updated your BIOS.
Windows 10 doesn't (as far as I know) download Bios updates.

Although it does do firmware updates for Surface tablets.

That's no Windows 10... that's Skynet...

Is it possible your PC crashed when you weren't looking and BIOS reset to default, as can sometimes happen?

Looks like he posted it in the CPU forum and it's been resolved by reflashing the bios.
