Harassment online.

I'd say this amounts to 'pursuing a course of action that results in harassment' or similar which is punishable under Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

I'd be reporting it to the police, good chance it'll result in a restraining order and those are no joke these days when it comes to applying for jobs.
 
OMG! Can't believe people here...

Copy and paste ALL messages and save them and then make a backup. If they admit who they are great! This will be ammunition in any Court hearings that come up.

Take the scorn on the chin while saving their vituperative behavior... Once it is all done report it properly to the police and save save save. Any Judge will take a dim view of that in any child arrangements order application!

I finally had someone witness my ex make a veiled threat to me finally!!! Might seem petty but 5years of abuse being ignored for me so far but now I have independent witnesses. And to people saying it is petty when you have police knocking on your door taking you to the station at 2am on lies when put in comparison... Meh

Why would CID be involved in a simple harassment job?!

You'll get a response bobby who will probably tell you to block them and delete your accounts first.

As everyone has said keep a record and ask them to stop, after a few weeks take it all to the police seems the best bet.
 
do you really think people are going to fund your own treatment? if it was needed the NHS would provide it.

report to the police to get it logged and then just forget about those idiots

Unfortunately, it'll be the ex/family's word against yours. We are just strangers on the net. We don't know both sides of the story.
