:D

The grip on the nsx is seemingly unreal, the way the power is delivered through the rev range is very similar to the S54, just without that sonorous drama that the S54 has. It's certainly not as animal like as the S54 at the top end of the rpm range, but they power feels and is put down is very similar.

The handling and chassis is amazing, but I prefer the S54 engine for sure. NSX with an S54 back there I think would genuinely be a monster machine!

Resized as for some reason all my images are the same width as everyone else yet always get caught out ;)

Your original image was 1,520 pixels wide.

The S54 engine was some years older in design though when it launched, so not technically a "2002" engine :p

The plate on that RX7 is brilliant.

The NSX one is also brilliant :p

Both cars are stock in the engine bay, but the nsx does have an upgraded exhaust. Throttle blips sound sweet. I have video of the hill pass runs but can't upload until next week.

The RX7 has a totally different feel to it, those Rotary engines are pretty interesting, especially after seeing how one is built up. It's the stock 2 rotor block and my mate has no plans to swap in a 3 rotor version. I am siding with him having felt how hot the transmission tunnel gets from inside the cabin after a good run

There was a small car gathering when we stopped for food, the owner of this classic barn found it, it sounded mental and was completely stock. The kind of sound where you can hear the pistons chattering through the exhaust lol.
