I have had a ADSL router killed during a storm.

Reminds me of a odd happening, one time lightening went through my modem/router combo & zapped my ethernet on my motherboard...

Thunderstorms on and off from 11pm last night!! Big bangs, flashes, forks and a lot of intense rain. I thought that was it by 1am, but went to bed and woke up to my bedroom lighting up and that window shaker

Apparently though it was far worse near to the se coast with some 120 strikes a min

The storms here are immense, the UK is so mild compared to the weather here!

Some of the French storms have been pretty serious, granted not as bad as the USA but not far off
