D5 Vario Pump combo

I currently have a

OcUK Tech Lab - XSPC D5 Vario Pump & EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ Value Combo

And i wish to use the top(where you fill the res as a input.

I preume from reading i have to buy one of these

I have manged to find one, sorry ocuk and have one on its way, i presume all i have to do is put the new top on then use one of the ports, gives a lot mor eoptions.

Yes the multiport top will do the job, but you'd be better with one of these as well unless you like to hear water gurgling all the time as it feeds in.

The multi-port top is fine, i have one on mine (EK x-Res 250) and dont have a problem. Actually looks far better than the original one. As rustyone says just make sure to put in a internal tube so its feeding directly into the coolant rather than just spraying into the top of the res. It wont sound very good.

those tiny tubes are prety damned hard to find. i have one ordred with ocuk, also if you buy elsewhere you have to be carefull some sell for stupid prices.

I have noticed though overall EK products are at a all time low stockwise in almost all online shops whats going on EK im sure your loosing a lot of money as people are hving to buy other products, and it has been like this for a while now, its about time EK as a company shipped more products, i ahve spoken to a lot of sare i say non ocuk shops they all quote the same thing. EK taking there time to shop orders being put in and taking an age to come to the uk, is this just a uk problem ?

Have you put the EK dress kit on it ? did it make a difference to the preference of the pump/res combo

The Restop and Tube are easy to find, but links to other shops are banned on this forum.

the res top in white is really easy to find now the black one on the othe rhand is on preorder in a lot of shops unless you want to pay £20 + for it.

it is the same situation for the tube, if you do not mind paying £12 + for the iner tube there is indeed plenty of places. but i have to say i have come accustomed to buying from ocuk. it feels wiered when having to buy elsewhere so i tend to wait until ocuk has stock. but yea i know what you mean

I am not naming other shops but for example one shop wanted £12.99 for the res top then wanted to charge £30 for delivery. il stick to ocuk lol.

Can you not just order both parts direct from EK?,they have pretty quick and decently priced delivery IIRC

As i stated in my op post i have actually found the res top and its on its way lol,
It was the inner tube that was cuasing the probs, and yes the ek shop has it but you have to order a certain amount and the postage is ok not good and i only wanted/required the inner tube lol

i checked all wc etialers including many others and they ceritnaly wasnt that price including delivery.

A lot of people seem to forget the actual postage, and soem shops you need to order a certian amount.remember i only wanted/needed the inner tube. and i was not certinaly paying more for the postage than the actual item is worth lol
