Best Nvidia 980Ti

How about there's no such thing as best? Otherwise OCUK would only sell one model ._.
They all have trade-offs.

P.S.
On air, the best is the Kingpin 82%+. I guess I was kind of wrong after all!

Price/performance wise, my favorite is the Inno X3. And is not even the one I own :o

EDIT: my HoF is faster than my previous Amp! Extreme out of the box (73,9 Asic vs 69 of the Zotac).

any issues with the random spike of fans spinning when not doing much

i myself have ordered the gigabyte 980ti G1

Seems eVGA have had their day, and the ****storm for them charging for a better ASIC is the last straw in most peoples eyes...

It is not worth paying extra for a better ASIC unless you are into competitive benching. For example most over clocked TI`s will boost to an average of around 1450. Higher boosts to 1500 + will only give you one or two extra frames depending on the rest of your set up. Never worth the money for the average gamer.

Yeah but the "average gamer" doesn't have £600 to spend on a single graphics card :p

Anyone buying a 980Ti to start with isn't an average gamer but a NON average gamer or high end gamer, with loads of money to spend. Someone buying a ASCI premium is then the top end of the "NON average gamer" ranks.

I have the MSI Gaming 6G and it's a superb card. Fans are off until you stress the card or the temp hits 60c...even using the 'gaming' profile, its dead silent - very impressed!

Very pleased with my Amp Extreme. Boosts to 1455 out of the box, runs 10 degrees cooler than the G1 I had before, and is quieter under load. Not tried overclocking it as the performance is excellent anyway. The ASIC quality is 81.4%

Only issues are some coil whine (which isn't audible most of the time and is far less than my previous G1) and the issue where the fan speeds can spike when the card is under load. Hoping a future bios update will fix that, but I game with headphones so I can't really hear them spike anyway.

Big card though - only just fits lengthwise in my case. Thought it wasn't going to fit when I tried to install it.

I'm happy with my G1 Gaming, I've had two so far and both can bench @ 1560 core.

I believe my first had coil whine so I RMA'd it, when I got my second; I heard it then, too... But it turned out it was my bad Corsair PSU whining. I am not too sure if OcUK accepted my RMA out of sympathy or not.
