After toying with the idea of a new desktop for a while, I've decided that a gaming laptop will be more practical due to a lack of space. Since there are so many on offer on OCUK this week, I'm tempted to go for it.
This is the machine that's caught my eye, just wondering how it compares to similarly priced laptops:
Aorus X7 Pro-SYNC, 17.3" FHD IPS G-SYNC Anti-Glare, Intel Core i7-5850HQ, 16GB DDR3L, 2x 256GB mSSD + 1TB 7200rpm HDD, NVIDIA GTX970M SLI 6GB GDDR5 - Windows 8.1
On the other thread where the budget is around 2k, the advice seems to be to go for the ASUS ROG. Are they better machines? How do the CPUs compare? I realise the one ASUS one for a similar price comes with 32GB of memory. Any advice on how these compare would be greatly appreciated!!
