Was every scot polled?
Nah pal. It shows that if you removed undecided voters 55%
awesome so if we remove sections of the vote we can change the figures?
if we remove yes voters and undecided its 100% no
statistics are awesome
yeah they said no.
yeah they said no.
Do we really want to preserve the union for the next X years while a majority want to leave?
The majority don't want to leave, hence the result of the referendum last year.
All that shows you is a snapshot in time.
You know people change their minds... You think the result would be exactly the same today?
In 5 years time?

LOL one of the SNP's flagship policies - minimum alcohol pricing - has been ruled illegal by the EU. Now if the EU had just humiliated my government like that, I'd be pretty furious and renew calls to leave the EU, but Nicola Sturgeon can't do that can she? She wants to be ruled by Brussels so will just have to suck it up.
Actually, the ruling returns it back to the Scottish court who can decide it is legal on health grounds. The same court has already approved it once.

Is that like how government's repeatedly hold referendums until they get the result they want?![]()
They didn't lose, the Scots won when it became clear the majority of them wanted to stay in the Union despite what the Nats would like everyone to believe. The Nats insisted the majority of Scots were demanding to leave the union, the question got put to the people rather than the nationalist politicians and despite doing everything they could to stoke the independence propaganda train including making the most of Bannockburn anniversary it became clear that it wasn't what the majority of Scots wanted at all.Do we really want to preserve the union for the next X years while a majority want to leave?
Why delay the inevitable if that truly is the case. Yay let's foster lots of resentment between us. That'll show the damn Scots
Or if they truly want to go... let them?
I know they've had a referendum recently and they lost, but I just don't see the point in hanging on to the union if they honestly don't want it. If next year 65% want to leave, what then? Or 75%?
It's just not feasible to maintain the union if/when Scots decide they don't want it.
O'rly? <blast from the past>Governments only hold referendum when the people want one. Silly billy.

All this waffle is bunkum based on a false premise put forward by the nats desperately trying to claw more power for wee wreck and the political elite who believe that somehow Scots were too wee, poor or stupid to make an informed decision in the referendum and somehow didn't understand the question.
Yet today we have a poll saying that 55% of Scots want to live in an independent Scotland. An overwhelming result for us nationalists.
