One thing is for sure. Official petitions now need the ability to accept opposing signatures.
Just create an opposing petition.

I love the way I get called a troll when you run out of counter arguments (it didn't take you long) and you fail to grasp even the most elementary critical analysis pathways required for a good debate.
I've got three young children - patience doesn't even begin to cover it!
No idea. I've never lived there. Have you?
You got called a troll because you are one.
It's fine I don't need to know any of the most basic elementary critical analysis pathways required for a good debate because I'm not here to debate anything.
The reason for that? Well what's the point in debating something I have no control over.
This thread and everyone before it is just like a group of men sitting around a pub table talking and then doing the same thing the next night.
If you're not here to debate, then surely that makes you the troll?
I can't control the sun, but I enjoy a good debate over it's origins.
Sup up, it's closing time!
why would he

One question.
How do we deal with such an influx of people?
Nope, you got called it because you've replied suggesting you are actually trolling and you are acting like you are. Talking of which your critical analysis is lacking a bit, You've singularly failed to make a point in regard to your contradictory previous posts. (before you ask for evidence, I've already posted with it)I love the way I get called a troll when you run out of counter arguments (it didn't take you long) and you fail to grasp even the most elementary critical analysis pathways required for a good debate.
I look forward to it. Curious as to why the TUC feels the need to be involved though, surely its for the SPRU units to look at?I am am however compiling a report with some colleagues from the TUC that makes some quite far reaching and progressive suggestions - it will be going out for peer review on Monday and should be ready in around a week - I'll link here on the forums when published.

That's a complicated question that can't be answered on a forum.

Assuming politicians were competent. I don't think they know either.
what has racism got todo with the already struggling poverty and housing situation in the uk? its absolutely disgusting what is happening but what exactly do you suggest, Germany is a big place.
I think they are too preocupied with the question "what does the voting public think is the right solution" to actually identify the right solution.
So Dave makes a clear statement the other day about not taking in migrants
Then this photo is plastered everywhere
Then Dave makes a 180 his position the same day
Why are we living in satire?
As I said earlier it isn't about racism or anything else it's about being able to sustain/support everything. Not to mention the simplest of things called physical space...
So Germany are going to take 800,000, we'll probably end up taking a few million but what about France, who is also calling on these 'binding quotas'....to reduce the current 40% (with Germany) being suggested. By my reckoning they should be taking a fairly large chunk of these refugees, if need be the EU can use some of the billions we've supplied it with to support the refugees.
Here's my reasoning, France is literally one of the biggest countries in regards to space in all of the EU, not to mention one of the smallest people per square kilometre (based on 2013 metrics which are likely lower than they are now).
UK - 263
Germany - 225
France - 103
Based on that alone, France can afford to take in a lot more than we can, yet here they are trying to get their quota reduced.
