What are the marketing people at team red doing ?

Always a good sign of product confidence.........

Either that or AMD is so broke now that it can't afford to give out review samples!!!!:eek::eek:

Combination of the two??

Since last weekend OcUK (probably the biggest Gfx card retailer in the UK!) have sold *4* FuryX's that they had in stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not 400, not 4000, *4*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To say that's bad is like saying ummmmmmmmmmmmmm water is wet....:o

AMD should have released a Fury core with standard GDDR5. This HBM is like gold dust and pretty pointless until the supplier can pull their finger out and produce meaningful quantities.

The Nano will be as plentiful as hen's teeth by the looks of it.

4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bloody Ti has probably sold in the region of 250/300+ alone this last week (at OcUK)!

To say AMD are in the **** is like saying I'm a bit weighty :D

Number 1: They need to come out and say without doubt that the whining has been fixed

Number 2: They need a super-duper driver to increase performance by 10-15% *minimum* to gain parity with the 'competition'

If neither of these happen then the FX line is gonna be a sinking ship imo (which I don't want)

They can't say it's fixed, as it won't all be down to the pumps. Some will have coil whine in general.

If AMD did go under in the near future, their abysmal marketing would have to take a fair share of the blame. It's been awful for a long while.

Its almost like someone is trying to sabotage them from within lol... its easy to be critical from a 3rd person perspective but the execution of the Fury/300 release shows a marked lack of strategic vision.
