We, as a society, supported by the government who will have to develop well reasoned plans and policies based on sound evidence and scientific reasoning.

See above. There are some serious issues that need addressing - and some of the solutions wont be liked by the Political COrrectness parade. But as I've said before, the crisis is political - not capacity or funding.

Well sort of, I think you tried to discount his point about honour crimes within the UK. If you we're then the point I was making is that the BBC (who you might still class as gutter press) have an article where UK Police forces have recorded more than 11,000 cases of honour crime between 2010 and 2014. Usually the "punishments" are where someone, usually females have brought shame on the family by showing too much of an interest in Western culture (Music, TV, Make up, Clothing etc etc).

Labour, the Tories, LibDems are paralysed into inaction by the thought of losing votes. The PC brigade would ditch them in an instant at the first sight of any policy aimed at "forced integration".

Ultimately, they'd much prefer your mark on the ballot paper than for you to integrate into society, because they only see as far as the next election.

Pretty simple - it's capacity +1.

Thing is though, capacity can be improved with planning and technology.

Look at the Netherlands - if we match thier population density that would increase our population from 65 million to 95 million - an extra 30 million people. They'll be lots of technological and social improvements to come that can extend that number greatly. I wouldn't be suprised if we're looking at a theoretical maximum of around 180million for the UK. Of course, we'll likely never get there as our current birth rates, like Japan, can't increase the population as it is - we actually need migration to increase out population..

Does it not occur to you there are degrees of faith in Islam, just like there are degrees of faith in Christianity? I suppose you consider yourself a Christian? I presume that means you've not had sex before marriage, know the lords prayer by heart, confess your sins regulary, don't work on a Sunday and so forth?

Have you not considered that exposing refugess to our more progressive, secular society is actually a great way of combating extremism? How will they ever know there is a better way if they never see it? Wouldn't it be great that once Syria sorts itself out and Syrians start returning there, they go back enlightened and take our values with them?

I think the refugees have cause to worry more about us changing thier sociey than we do about them changing ours.

You missed probably the most practical issue - Money.

NHS, Policing, Education, Flood defences, Coastal defences, Energy - All whilst trying to reduce national debt and cutting budgets.

Yeah, easy to build new houses what about upgrading the sewage and waste water infrastructure ? Loads of homes built on flood plains and loads of homes built with no upgrade to water waste disposal. More homes = more flooded homes without proper investment.

Oh and power, that was an issue in the news recently too wasn't it ? Blackouts and power cuts forecast with a smaller population, grow the population, grow the demand and you get power cuts and black outs quicker.
