R9 Nano - AMD says that it has too few review samples for the press.

Haha, so sites that don't give favourable reviews should be blocked... and that's a good thing in your book? Isn't that basically how corruption works?

Your last two sentences could be straight out of a Godfather movie :p

All the sites that didn't get a sample are making snide remarks, so you can see their nv bias showing through. Anytime NV are on the rack it's "wait and see" "I'm sure it's all a misunderstanding" etc etc. TPU are actively spreading FUD against AMD. Completely unprofessional.

Meow.... if they lose their jobs i hope they find their dream jobs the next day!

I think it is in bad taste for anyone to joke about people loosing their jobs, our own Matt with would be potentially affected if true and for anyone to think it is amusing it diabolical.

P.s that is not aimed at you humbug, just adding to the conversation.

I know its not aimed at me, it is diabolical, Matt is a top guy, i have no doubt Joe is too and i wish them nothing but the best.

Lets get off the subject now, its not nice :)

I thought DX12 supported multiple GPUs at API level, so there was no need for any drivers or profiles?

Afaik, the devs still need to write hardware specific mgpu support into DX12 engines, no guarantee they will even add mgpu-Rebellion said they could do this/that with Mantle mgpu yet walked away leaving zero Mantle mgpu support.

For instance-Cryengine, currently has built in mgpu support, add a vendor to a title and mgpu can suddenly stop working=bigger ball ache than what we already have.

Presumably they just cant make enough at the moment rather than excluding specific reviewers on purpose.

With TPU i don't think its deliberate.... i do think its as simple as this.

I don't think TPU are Nvidia bias, not at all, but if they were i wouldn't want to help them cause me damage either.

But i don't think this is what this is about, AMD are investing in Social Media reviews, that is where their product allocations for reviewers are prioritised and TPU don't do Youtube.

Its as simple as that.

I just can't buy it that the second biggest GPU manufacturer doesn't have enough cards.
How many reviewers are out there, considering also youtubers?
About 40? Even less probably.

We agree that a review on a good product is a good thing for selling that product right?
I would rather think they are indeed only sending cards to whom is more likely to give them a good review, instead of thinking they don't have more than 10 cards.
It's business, they just try to do the best thing. They know (as we do) reviewers will probably like the card, but give it low scores because of the ridiculous price.

P.S. If they actually don't have enough cards... :(

I found "THE" Nano, this guy has it at PCworld (US)

AMD’s itty-bitty Radeon R9 Nano isn’t due to launch until September 10, but a review unit landed on my doorstep today. Sadly, I can’t talk about its performance until then, but an AMD representative gave me permission to tweet out some pictures.
