R9 Nano - AMD says that it has too few review samples for the press.

it's suicide not giving cards to all the big sites. AMD are either hugely confident and sitting on as massive ace, which is just looking more and more impossible, OR they have genuine supply issues and making the cards all but impossible to manufacture. rumored prices would support that theory. I guess AMD are fully in damage 'limitation' mode now.

Who the hell is running the show at AMD ? From an outsiders perspective it honestly looks like someone is purposefully running the company into the ground.

I am starting to suspect the Nano has some serious flaws or lack of performance that sites like TPU would expose.

Having said that I think the Fury X and Fury P are very good cards indeed.

I thought AMDJoe said that HBM production was all sorted now and stock should be filling up? Or did I misread that?

Mind you, there is 4 Fury X's still for sale and if demand was that high, they would have been sold long ago.

More than a week they've been there, shocking! People are just scared to get a whiner (or have already been burned, such as Loads). I must admit if I was buying an AMD card today I'd go for the Fury Pro, wouldn't want the possibility of a noisy card

If I was going for an AMD card today, I would kick myself in the head and tell me to wake up :D

They should just scrap the liquid cooling system and allow partners to release Fury X with aftermarket coolers, not only will it solve the issue of whining pumps but it'll knock a significant amount off the price.

Well PCper has one and I thought they were considered very NVidia biased.

It certainly isn't looking good for the supposed plenty of stock at launch, if they cannot supply enough review samples.

I am not really sure why you would buy a Fury X over a 980Ti at this point in time, especially when they are more expensive and 980Ti's are on sale often at under £500.

The only plus i can see is the liquid cooler but then that is offset by the noise problems with them. I would rather just have a 980Ti with a very quiet/silent air cooler than have to put up with that pump whine i have heard on videos here.

I'm a bang-per-buck kinda guy and I did ;) (see sig)

I'm just thinking out loud if I were an ATi/AMD fan that's all

Tip: If you're going Ti SLi then ffs make sure that the top card is a Hybrid (or fit one!!). They are *HOT* :D

Crossfire is why. Crossfire is so much cooler and still quiet with the AIO. Plus, who knows; voltage control, DX12, VR - the card has a number of possibilities for it to be improved, although none of them are guaranteed so it's a bit of a gamble there.

I've got an MSI and a strix and they are fine, both at about 60% and 1450 they sit around 73 and 67
I do have a 200mm fan on intake as well as a 1 slot gap, but then I wouldn't want to have to find space for another two rads on my current setup, so...
People buying FuryX's seem to be doing so on yet another round of "jam tomorrow" from AMD's marketing team
