AMD’s Robert Hallock: “The vast majority of DX12 titles in 2015/2016 are partnering with AMD”

These partnerships may be similar to how Oxide is working with AMD but Nvidia also has input so not exactly akin to Gameworks style development.

So far AMD doesn't even have the edge in AoTS when theoretically it should have with all the Async Shaders controversy.
Maybe when the game is near finished we may see them pull ahead but so far the benchmarks are underwhelming. I suppose that's what you get when you play fair but the competition doesn't.

AMD are starting to sound very desperate now and considering OCUK have only sold 5 Fury X's in the space of about a week I'm not surprised.

Now that async shaders has been shown to be a lot of hot air they're now suddenly going to partner with everyone which historically they've never done on a scale larger than 1 or 2. Where's all the money coming from to suddenly start working with loads of developers?

The thing is AMD's work is already getting done for them. A dx12 game on xbox one using amd hardware will transfer to pc much better now also using amd hardware..

Think about it.

Are you sure about that, because newer AMD hardware doesnt seem to be benefitting from the work done on Mantle, it seems optimisation on a per hardware basis is still required, even from the same vendor.

I hope for a shiny DX12 future for AMD. Its been a while since I've had any AMD kit in my system, I'd like to give them another go.

All I want to know is should I buy a 4K tv at christmas. I have zero intention of getting a 4k bluray blah blah, but would definately get a 4K tv if AMD can magic up some adapter to allow 60hz on a 4k screen. In glorious DX12.

Its lame that my r290s cant do it. LAME I TELLS YA!!

Stoopid AMD.

The 14nm cards are due early next year which should have hdmi 2.0 anyway so worth getting a 4K TV in preparation.

Yes, I agree. The actions of their DX12 performance thus far has spoken loudly, and infuriated several NVIDIA lovers.

Why would nvidia "lovers" be infuriated with AMD's top cards performing worse on DX12 than nvidia's cards? Surely nvidia lovers would only become infuriated if AMD's cards were outperforming them?

Although why anyone would think of becoming "infuriated" over a benchmark score in itself I find very entertaining. I think some people take this all far too seriously if that is the case. Cant we just have a bit of playful banter without anyone getting upset?
