Powerline VS running CAT5

Hi all,

I'm contemplating if to run CAT5 round the outside of the property or to buy a set of powerline adapters.

The easiest is the powerline adapters but how much extra ping do they add? Secondly we have a lot of medical equipment plugged in here (ventilator / air mattress) etc etc so could only guess the main ring would have a lot of extra noise which would cause issues.

It's hard to say per house, since every house has different electrical wiring, and that is what the powerline adapters use to transfer it's signal.

i would wire cat cable anyday over powerline adaptors unless its completely impossible to get a route.
If you do run a cable i would also do it in cat6 but thats just me and how i would do it.

I'd also run 2 cables :')
