Fundamental Islam is behind the rape and torture, burning people alive, cutting peoples heads off.

The tone is derogatory. The popular opinion among those who see themselves as "tolerant" is that UKIP appeals to racists and xenophobes. These people see the EDL as virtually the same thing, only more hard-line.

Calling people EDL supporters, or UKIP supporters, is supposed to signal to others reading the thread that "this person is a xenophobe, probably racist, and their opinion should be interpreted as hate speech."

I take your point but I was asking you if you are EDL as what you posted above is pretty much what the EDL push all over the web, this idea that we are becoming an Islamic country and are being bred out etc is complete rubbish.

Unless the majority are forcefully converted or stop having children it isn't going to happen.

Working age men are unlikely to have useful skills when they arrive without significant effort to learn the language and adapt to a different way of working / industry.

Its a nice idea in theory but the execution of the integration seems like an almost impossible task without a huge willingness on the part of the refugees.

Anyone who has mutilated their kids private bits should be refused entry but take their kids in

We don't/can't. Even (some) people born here do not consider themselves British/English. IF they put their religion before anything and everything else in their life, even their own families then we have no chance.

The EU/UK multicultural experiment has failed. It just doesn't work - ok, so some people do, and that's great... but many - enough to be a problem - do not. We cannot force them to integrate with us, to be part of the wider community because to them, we are awful people, who owe them something/everything.

They are allowed to spread their messages of hatred of us with no consequences to themselves whatsoever.

For this nation to survive this kind of thing must stop.

Fundamental islam = people who practice their religion as written in their holy books.

The vast majority of people who self-identify as "Christian" are non-practicing. Half of them have little to no understanding of what Christianity even teaches. The same is not true of islam.

If all the current/recent asylum seekers and immigrants is anything to go by the first thing the women will do is pop out a few children to get the british passport for their children and then from there they are in the system for life.

Opposing something != hate.

I oppose the Tories, doesn't mean I hate them. In fact, some of my friends are Tories.

It's fairly self evident, even to a casual observer.

But here goes. From the 2011 census, about 60% of people identified as Christian, and 4.4% muslim. 25% atheist.

Yet mosque attendance is already higher than church attendance.

According to the study - The Future of the Church - around 930,000 Muslims attended a mosque at least once a week in 2004, just outnumbering the 916,000 regular church goers in the Church of England.

That is one metric by which you could start to see the picture.

The lives of many, many muslims are centered around islam. Will you care to argue against that? How many people identify as muslim first, British second (or not at all)?

I don't know about that! Many Muslims are woefully ignorant of their religion and apathetic about finding out for themselves, preferring to take what the scholars say as gospel (so to speak). Otherwise nobody would get 'radicalised' and the 'hate preachers' would have no audience.
