Ever thought that the vast majority DON'T hate our way of life?

Just because someone lives a different life in thier own country, doesn't mean they hate the way everyone else lives. Unless you're a UKIP or EDL supporter ofc.

So those 300 empty properties couldn't go to the British Public then? Can anyone spot the flaw in this, for the fact the government said " There's not enough houses, we need to build more homes "

Sadly this is the case, it will undoubtedly be held far too late for change to occur. By which time British people will probably be classed as an insurgency on our own soil. I wish this influx of 'refugees' had happened 6 months ago, pre-election. Farage wouldn't have stood for any of this BS. Still the tories are the next best thing because god knows what state we would be in with a Labour/Liberal/Green/SNP govt coalition.

The biggest threat on home soil is probably the SNP at present. They will happily take 'refugees' and then send them over the border to destabilise England and Wales in order to gain independence. In fact they almost sound like a group I already know off.........

You were doing really well and then you laid thier actions at the feet of Socialisim, whilst completely ignoring the fact Germany isn't Socialst (it's government is the center right Christian Democratic Union) and the main driver behind accepting the refugees is Capitalist.

We aren't getting a referendum during this parliament - there is no way Cameron will call one while this s going on.

I suspect the 'refugees' would turn their noses up at the prospect of living in Stockton. All they want is a good home, good benefits and health care in an area of their choosing whilst being left alone to plot the demise of the EU. Oh wait, that'd be if there was hundreds of thousands of single males entering the EU instead of all those desperate families. Oh wait....

You were doing so well* until you implied everyone who disagrees with you is a racist ;) Or that UKIP and the EDL are basically the same thing.

*This part is sarcasm too.

And it's true that a significant number of them don't like our culture. They don't like our dress, they don't like our permissiveness, they don't like our freedom to drink alcohol. They keep their daughters away from western men.

They congregate into their own communities, and set up their own Sharia courts to deal with inter-muslim disputes.

as a northerner I welcome the SNP, they make us northern folk feel welcome whilst our own government abandons us as if we are living in some toxic wilderness

How do you apply that to UKIP you suggesting everyone in UKIP hates everyone else lives, and what proof do you have of that, isnt that not the same as every Muslim hates everyone else lives.

Thinly veiled accusations of racism or xenophobia are quite obvious.

The tone is derogatory. The popular opinion among those who see themselves as "tolerant" is that UKIP appeals to racists and xenophobes. These people see the EDL as virtually the same thing, only more hard-line.

Calling people EDL supporters, or UKIP supporters, is supposed to signal to others reading the thread that "this person is a xenophobe, probably racist, and their opinion should be interpreted as hate speech."

You already know this. Why I even bothered typing something so obvious I have no idea ;)

Well then no-one in this thread is racist for correctly pointing out that islam is incompatible with western civilisation.

Islamic culture is diametrically opposed to western culture.
 
Genuine question here but how do we integrate these people into society properly.

If you have a large influx of people from a country that has a very different culture, different language and different skills.

You will have families where people are beyond working age

Children that have to be taught english before they can be taught anything else so are quite unlikely to become educated to a good standard in the first generation at least.

Same issue with working age men and women. Chances are high that the women will stay at home to look after kids and never bother to learn english and only socialise within their own community. Working age men are unlikely to have useful skills when they arrive without significant effort to learn the language and adapt to a different way of working / industry.

Its a nice idea in theory but the execution of the integration seems like an almost impossible task without a huge willingness on the part of the refugees.

Fundamental islamic culture often causes friction but then so does fundamental Christianity when it comes to gay rights.
