No comparison I'm afraid, and as I said before count the number of Christian related terror attacks compared to Islam. Someone did it in a thread ages ago and laid out most major events. There was hardly any comparison (Tip amount of ones related to Islam were far far far far far more). I didn't turn the TV on recently and see the world trade centres blown up by a bunch of fundamentalist christians, I haven't seen an organised group of people like ISIS burning people alive and crucifying them.

Enough with these stupid comparisons trying to make out Islam is some religion of peace that does no harm.

And more importantly what does Christianity have to do with ANY OF THIS?! why is it always some content. Some contest to prove look look everyone! it's not only Islam doing things! Yes, yes it is. I grew up in Billingham, Stockton and Norton before I moved to Wiltshire and I appreciate the North East may feel left behind or even persecuted to an extent but the SNP would be a HUGE mistake and are certainly not the answer. Devolved power is in the North East and West. Not some Scottish fanatical fantasists.

Well, you can look back to a time when Christianity was a huge part of peoples lives and when a whole country was forced to change their "brand" of christianity on the whims of their king. Like it is in some muslim dominant countries and as ISIS are trying to achieve, you convert or you die.

It does not matter what race or religion you are you are still human and you get both good humans and bad ones.
Over time the UK have invaded over 90% of the globe at one point or another yet we complain about a few immigrants wanting to save their lives. Ask yourself would you do the same in their shoes.

But that was my point, the religion of Islam is archaic and it isn't compatible with the 21st Century when it is so misinterpreted, predominantly by its own followers.

Being deported (as the best possible outcome) for being openly gay is testament to the ideology indoctrinated into Muslims. Not only in the Middle East but Africa and a plethora of countries around the world. Western society wasn't much better for a time but it has quickly adapted and accepted, even the US and the Church are becoming increasingly tolerant for want of a better word.
