The EU Migrant Crisis

What has going out on the lash and smoking have to do with being democratic.

I was just using it as a jokey example. (Remembering my time in Turkey fondly with my hilarious tour guide)

What I meant was it's not compatible if you want to enforce shariah law, don't want woman to go to school, expect woman to cover up yada yada.

But that role is more ceremonial wouldn't you agree?

No I wouldn't. The reigning monarch is central to our constitutional monarchy and although there is a lot of pomp and ceremony she also has a very important constitutional role. Her privvy council has 'suggested' changes to bills coming for royal ascent from parliament even relatively recently when they looked to allow parliament to vote on declarations of war without the Queen's consent. This was promptly dropped as a bill. The Queen doesn't need to bring a constitutional crisis to exercise her power.

And for reference, I support the Queen in this as well. Any declaration of war should be very well considered before being enacted.

Women can go to school ;) you should brush up on religious education buddy. Issues you are explaining seem more like culturally differences.

I have given my opinions on the fact that smoking is an awful habit and that drinking to excess has many personal and social harms, so yes, I am.

But do you yell at someone you see smoking?

Do you and your buddies patrol the street telling people not to do it?

do you have access to some kind of "muslamics behaving badly" youtube channel? :p

Lmao

I don't go out on the lash or smoke. Am I incompatible with the west?

Do you strictly adhere to Islamic teachings? If not, your question is obviously silly.

You're focusing on a rare extreme and representing that as the norm which is wrong.

It doesn't matter if only a minority drive that sort of behaviour, the majority are complicit in it through their passivity.

As many people have pointed out previously: Think of anything terrible that has happened in human history, and you'll find it was usually driven by a minority. Not all Nazis were involved in the genocides. Not all Soviets were involved in the Holdomor. Not all American settlers stole land from the natives.

In the end, Muslims subscribe to a wicked religion founded by a man who beheaded his prisoners of war, a religion which has waged war on Europe for more than a thousand years and to this day is still responsible for the majority of conflict in the world.
