Good case for watercooling/air flow

I've got a NZXT and it is a lovely case but the air flow is awful making it pretty hard to run fans at a low speed and keeping temps down.

So I'm looking to get something new, something about the same size or bigger.

Has to be white, because it goes with my theme.

What do you recommend? I like the Evolv ATX but it looks pretty small and air flow not so good.

There's so many I don't know

Thermaltake core x9 is a very interesting case for £130 I'd knab one if I were in the market for a watercooling case it's has native dual 480 rad support.

I really like that. I don't think it would fit on my desk though

At extremes you could always get a Corsair 540, such a behemoth of a case but plenty of airflow and water cooling possibility

Phanteks Enthoo primo, I went from a 820 to that and it made a world of difference.

Phanteks luxe if you want a smaller size of case. Airflow will be as good as the primo as they are similair in design at the front.

The 540 standard fans are very noisy and fall apart quite quickly so if you go for a 540 budget for aftermarket fans and maybe a fan controller

I use Be Quiet fans with a Bitfenix Recon in mine

I'm not a fan of the 540 anymore and it is too wide for my case.

There is a Enthoo Primo on MM so I'm going to consider that.

Really like the look of that Thermaltake case, sadly it's not going to fit on my desk

I went from a 540 to an Enthoo Primo... Obviously it is nice to have all of the space that the Enthoo offers but I think I prefer the 540 on the whole. The Corsair's fit and finish was much nicer.

buy a cheap side table for it ? or bung it on the floor

It would go next to the wall so not possible and I could never do such a thing! I would if i didn't care about how it looked.

the evolv atx is not small. its huge lol. i think its very close in size to my luxe.

it would definately offer better cooling than the H440.

There's a review saying the evolv atx isn't as good at cooling as the luxe which I find very odd seeing as the luxe has hdd cages in the way of airflow :confused:

whats the cpu cooler height clearance on the corsair 540 ? I'd get the thermaltake core x9 anyday over the corsair for watercooling.
