I've some solid advice for both parties in this case and well to the general population of the world really. **** happens move on!
Yes it was inappropriate to make comments on linkedin but not inappropraite on facebook. I think people understand that distinction.
if she feels so strongly about it then why post a profile picture (where she's taken the time to get her hair and makeup nice etc..) in the first place... it isn't facebook after all and her appearance has nothing to do with business connections etc..
Additionally, I am not convinced he was the initiator of the conversation.
However, an older married guy coming onto a younger (single?) woman in this way is sleazy, particularly when we incorporate the notion of "career opportunities".
And this matters because?
Just read it was her who sent him the initial message so that alters the dynamic of the situation a little in my view. Would be interesting to see what that message contained.
Yup, Complete hypocrite, her career is effectively in the bin. Good riddance.
Never worn a suit for an interview?
What message did she send?
It's a bit different her making comments on photos of her friends on FB no?
That's not on a professional site such as linkedIn though. It also depends on the relationship she has with people on Facebook. I would accept certain comments from friends I wouldn't accept from strangers.
Lets not be overdramatic here. Her career is not going anywhere.
