jeez, thse DM comments.
Capital punishment is never justified. They may have comitted sickening offences, but they have a mental illnes and need help as well as (in their cases) incarceration. If people like this are caught before they can commit such a rime then they can be helped through a psychiatrist. No need for death penalty, it's never justified. Or if it were possible allow them to come forward without being attacked by the entire community so they can seek help themselves

What's wrong with that? It's actually a vaguely sensible comment with some through behind it as opposed to the "Herp derp cut their nuts off and hang them" responses.
 
Man, this is disappointing. I came in to this thread expecting to read about thugs being a menace to society with aggressive behaviour whilst plucking their eyebrows and discussing hair gel in a dark alley.


This place has gone to the dogs :(

I can't remember where I read it, but a while ago I'm sure I did read about another country that tried helping such people. Over there doctors wasn't allowed to report patients even if they had admitted to such crimes, so all they could do is provide them with help.

And since over here it's illegal not to report such things, nobody dares come forward for the help. Also would our country ever accept such a law? I can see how this could help avoid more crimes of this nature though.

So what about the daily threads that pop up whick basically turn into Muslim bashing? There's a thread on the refugee/migrant crises and majority of posts are not constructive and purely racial. ..

Yes these guys do deserve the rest if their lives in the worlds worst prisons but this thread like many others will turn into the dail mail comments section as burnsy said.

The only saving grace is they are white britains otherwise there would be plenty of race/religion hate in here by now..... to those who usually go down that route....look...white guys can be just as bad or worse in this casr

if it dealt with the problem before they even commit the crime? Yes!! if its after they shuold pay for not coming forward before

Some of the ones they did treat had just thoughts of such things and seeked help.

How do you know a crime is going to be committed before it does? We aren't always going to have intel on such situations to avoid. But giving them help could help protect children who they may have gone on to harm over the years.

Then Report them.. i'm dealing with this one..had i seen the those i would have dealt with them the same. The matter isn't up for further discussion in this thread. If you have a problem, then contact the MOD team.

I merely meant that they come forward before hand, they know they have these urges, they could do something about it if things changed. so yes I agree with the end of your reply there :)
 
GD is basically the result of Mumsnet and Stormfront having a giggity and a few other folks looking on and chiming in like it's a car crash. It's a real eye opener at times.
