On the EK website it says 'coming soon' and a little bird told me it could be here in 2-3 weeks (but not sure if true or not) . . .

Just wondering if anyone else had any more info to clarify this as I really miss having my graphics card water cooled and need this badly.

I'm sure there is quite a few people waiting for this!

:)

I asked the other day but didn't get a reply. :(

I'm waiting myself for it as I want to build my first proper custom loop once a suitable gpu block is available.

I have to say I don't think EK customer support is the sharpest tool in the shed tbh. . .

I emailed them on the 1/7/15

Hi there,
I was hoping you could tell me when you expect to release a water block (full length) for the Gigabyte 980Ti G1?

Replied with:

Thank you for contacting us.
Yes, we will have waterblock for this GPU, but first we must get the GPU itself and since it is not available yet, we can't make the block.
Please follow us on Facebook and check our home page where we release all the news.

Best regards, Igor

Does not really inspire confidence! lol

I don't know what make you feel not confident in what Igor replied??

The last I heard too was that we still didn't received our test card from Gigabyte and we need it to approve the prototype and then put it in mass production.

I would say that the release of the Gigabyte block could be in at least a month from now. But this is not an official ETA.

I think the confusion was regarding the card being out generally for purchase vs sent to EK for testing and such.

perhaps you could ask OcUK to send you one ... they seem to have plenty

tho strange that it says its a TitanX PCB.. but it has 2 8 pin connectors..

haha ok, yes that may look weird I admit.

Usually the process of making a waterblock is that the manufacturer sends us the drawings of the card so from this we can start the conception of the block. but the manufacturer also has to send us a physical card for a precise test fitting. The process of sending the physical card can sometimes be "lengthy" for some manufacturers ;)

Have they said how long for delivery? I'd like to order from OC but if it's going to be a while before stock is in, I'll order directly from EK

I'm confident I'll have it plumbed in this time next week (or before). Delivery takes 4 days and I have a feeling it will be dispatched Monday as the order will be prepared over the weekend. I had exactly the same situation with some fans I bought from EK recently.

:)

I always order from EK directly, stock ETA can be a bit dodgy on OCUK. I find EK prices cheaper even with 1 day delivery :D (sorry OCUK).

The block and backplates do look awesome. Looks suprisingly identicle to the full block and backplate i have fitted to my reference 980Ti's (Titan X block + backplate).

Love to see it and hear how it cools once you've got it plumbed in.
