The labour Leader thread...

Corbyn didn't seem to be that great a speaker today during his speech so I could well imagine Cameron making mince meat of him at PMQ. Tom Watson seemed alright though.

A number of existing shadow cabinet ministers said they will not take up their positions in Mr Corbyn's cabinet. Tristram Hunt, Yvette Cooper, Emma Reynolds, Angela Smith, Chris Leslie, Liz Kendall and Rachel Reeves are among those stepping down. Ed Miliband also said he was content on the backbenches.
they should not allowed to be MPs.

they should not allowed to be MPs.

Then get their constituencies to vote them out.

As someone who is clearly a Corbyn supporter, you don't really have respect for the democratic system we have in the UK.

If the Labour party wants they can kick them out of the party, but that doesn't stop them being an MP.

**** i'm tempted to vote for him if it means that shower of idiots step out of cabinet.

What summed it up for me was the chanting like a football crowd outside the meeting place. Instant dislike of the kinds of people he will attract....

Sounds a bit odd but I think a labour party could do with a female leader as they seem to be more about the people than the men in politics. Something different. He reminds me of Nigel Farage... again another dislike.

But I do hope he comes up with some good ideas. I've seen some of his policies and I'm a little unsure of him because labour used to be for the workers but he seems to be more to the right which makes him seem more like a Tory.... I dunno.

I don't like the idea of him scrapping the trident system either as we are at something of a precipice in Syria with Russia etc. You don't have to use them but if you have them it instantly protects you a bit from far worse.... prevention is better than cure.

Labour has chosen today to give the 2020 election to the Conservatives while they rebuild their shattered party, how they rebuild in the centre ground with a far left leader, I don't know.

I have more respect for Milliband as a leader of the opposition - and he was a complete plank.

He's a likeable politician alas with the policies that many won't like.

he doesn't really have any policies though he has "suggestions" and if people seem to like them they became "policies all along" and if not "they were just ideas"
