Hello,

As per title, I have an Iiyama 24" 1080p which can do 144Hz. I mostly play BF4, DayZ, Arma3 and probably Battlefront3 when it releases.

I find I have no problems with the monitor but I'm doing more "real" stuff with my computer(s), working at home, some image work, some video work and a lot of email and web based configuration.

I quite like the look of the Dell 2515 25" 2560x1440 IPS panel but don't know if I'll hate the decision if I get rid of the fast TN panel?

I'll just add, I have a 980Ti so in some of the games I get quite decent frames, stuff like Arma3 is a pig and you never get over 50 anyway....

Any ideas on what I should do? If I wanted to go for the Dell I'd have to sell the Iiyama (to bridge the gap) so I have no "roll back" option and only want 1 screen so dual isn't an option either.

Why get rid of your existing monitor? Just use both. I'd never go back to one screen if I could avoid it. I have my 4K in landscape orientation and my two Dells in portrait - perfect for reading OCUK forums.

I just don't get on with multiple monitor set ups. I *plan* to use the single monitor in front of me, laptop on dock just left of it once into my cave.

It would bug me having 2 different monitors, I'm bothered I'd look at it and it's colours and compare to the TN next to it, then decide I can see the difference and end up selling anyway.

I'm in the same boat would love a nice ips dell monitor but have been spoiled by 144htz, i have a spare Samsung sa750 but the 60htz ruins it for me.

Please can someone put out a 24 inch ips 144htz panel ta very much.

If you're doing image work, I'd highly recommend having monitors with different colour capabilities :)

A good quality working screen with high gamut (99-100% sRGB for digital work is great) and a cheaper secondary will give you a better feel for what your picture's going to look like to other people. It's great to know that you have colour accuracy while working, but sometimes you need to aim for Average Joe's budget device rather than industry standards :)

With the games you are playing and the graphics card you have I suggest gaming experience is possibly important to you and I would suggest sticking with 144Hz, unless of course the image and video work is paying the bills, in which case you need to accept a slower response time in gaming for better colour reproduction and viewing angles...or as you mentioned not an option and already suggested here, go for dual monitor set up, 1 for work and 1 for play! :-)
