Jesus Christ, it's like a full on assault on men these days. You can't pay a woman a compliment, and now putting your arm around them is looked down on.

‘It annoys me when I see men with an arm slung round their girlfriend’s shoulders,’ she said.

‘It’s like ownership. Of course, when you’re young, you want the guy to take your hand and look after you.’

The only time I put my arm around my crazy wifes shoulders is when I get her in a headlock ready to suplex her into the middle of next week.
