This sucks.. cant see him sticking around now. But all this for weed? yet Jones got caught with Cocaine and wont see that suspension and Anderson Silva got only one year with PEDs..

Check the MMA Junkie interview after the court hearing, he's so entertaining. I would link, but naturally Diaz = swearies.

He obviously has all sorts of things flying around his head, and he struggles to put it into words so his interviews just end up being an incoherent mess. :D

This interview he goes off on a total rant/tangent, funny.

As for his suspension, it's a total joke. Sure he's been done for Weed before, and he really should know better but 5 years? When you have fighters getting caught ****** hot for PED's? Not on.
 
Not only is this laughable because it's weed, but it's all based on a urinalysis. They have zero proof he has actually used during competition and are simply guessing. Stuff like this really puts in perspective how little power/leverage fighters have.

While I think it's ridiculous that weed is on the banned substance list in the first place he has broken the rules multiple times.

No matter how stupid the rules are you can't break them over and over again and not expect to get disciplined for it.

5 years is excessive though.
 
UFC being lined up for an event in London February next year = :cool:

Bisping and Pearson already being lined up for the event = :(

Not that I dislike either guy, the opposite in fact, but the UFC always seems to use the same fighters every England card. Must've seen both guys live 4/5 times now.

I don't disagree with your theory but a promotion is only as good as it's fighters and unfortunately the UFC has the majority of the established talent out there on their books!

Unfortunately I can only see Fedor fighting UFC cast-off's and unknowns!
 
Uriah Halls win here, Mousasi dominated the first round, then Uriah did this at the start of the second round :o


he'd be such a great fighter if he played the attacking game more often
 
Doesn't have the mental aspect to the game, all the physical attributes in the world though.

Still, a very good win against a top ranked opponent, fair play to the guy.

I see Jones will be back soon, he has been given a suspended sentence. Kind of ridiculous he hasn't been sent down in honesty, hardly his first offence and did a runner from a crime scene. 'Murica and all that.
 
I quite enjoyed most of the fights at the weekend but there seemed to be ZERO atmosphere in the arena!!!! :confused:

I assume the Japanese are a very reserved bunch! Must have been weird for the fighters that are used to the American or British crowds going banana's!!
