Asus Z170 deluxe - wifi?

I am looking at this MB for a new Skylake build. I won't be using wifi as I have a wired solution. I assume you can completely disable wifi? Dont need anything using extra power when I don't need it too.

Just leave it. If you have a wired solution just use that. Don't even need to disable WiFi

That's what I will probably do, just wondered if there were any settings to disable it.

You will be able to disable WIFI/Bluetooth in the BIOS. This will mean no extra drivers will be installed for it, just remember to do it before installing the OS.

or you can buy the asus X99-S. It is basically a Deluxe board but without Wifi and 2 USB ports less. £50+ less as well.
