Any more news on the situation in Croatia? last I heard Croatia was refusing to let migrants get to the Slovene borders, but of course, some of them get there anyway.

Apparently they've started bussing them to a Hungarian border crossing because they don't want their country to become a "migrant hotspot". It's not going to end well.

That billionaire chap wants to buy an island, house some of the, physically employ them, to build their own homes, their own schools and hospitals and then a hotel and other gubbins for trade.

In theory, an excellent idea and plan.
I hope it happens, and I hope he manages to make it work, no matter how unlikely the plan might be.

If we get them all onto a Greek island, in the middle of the sea, it garners a degree of control. Letting them spill elsewhere is a different matter. I endorse his idea and think more little unused islands should be bought and used for the same purpose.

It's human nature, greed. What defines ethically correct is in the mind. Do we give £5 a month to Oxfam or share everything we own with someone from Ethiopia? Who defines if giving £5 a month is being ethical enough? BBC Question Time? Or just give enough until others are satisfied? We live in a world of a runaway greenhouse effect that will flood half the world's homes and world population growth is out of control. This is all a recipe for disaster. Human nature is and has always been greed, get what you can for your interests. All of human history is greed. All the caring for human life, at this rate in 30+ years humans will be seen for what they are, the cancer of the planet.

Nice idea but what we seem to be seeing so far from the majority is a distinct lack of a desire to stop, settle, be safe and forge a life. They want the "promised" lands of freebies galore.

I wouldn't worry yourself over nutters like that. They are very few indeed and the vast majority of muslims think they are extremist tossbags.

As for breeding with our women, I think he's struggling to grasp the concept that the children are not born in terrorist training camps, they are raised in a western society and as such, are likely to view any threat to the western way of life as a direct threat to them.

OK, we've had some sod off to Syria to fight, but it's a mere drop in the ocean compared to our peaceful, young muslim population.

I really don't think it's many. They can't marry unless they convert to Islam and atm, the growing wave of hostility to Islam will make it less likely for them to do so. Let alone succumb to ISIS style Islam.

I think it's more than you think - trouble is that they all seem to marry into the more extreme variants of Islam so end up wearing Burkhas so you can't tell. Then you hear about all the silly wee lassies who work in places like Dubai and marry an Arab man, then are surprised when they have zero rights when it turns out he's an abuser and wants his mum to look after her kids.
