Time to pick a new company car

If I go for the 350e I would be paying £42 a month tax inc fuel benefit which is a huge difference to anything I have had previously - lazy question does anyone know the delivery time on the above

Delivery times are extended due to its popularity, mine was originally to be built in August then September and now I have a build date of early October.

Think they are quoting 6 months for delivery currently.

So I've ended up ordering the new c class coupe C 250 d which should land end March next year so I get to drive the bmw for a few extra months.

Work managed to get a good deal on the lease which worked out cheaper than the 320 but I'm guessing that's down to residual values being more in favour of the Mercedes.

The coupe is a stunning looking car, that colour looks good aswell.

A few people have mentioned the C350, has any one driven one?, the petrol engine isnt very good imo, pretty unrefined lump, the figures on paper are great and the tax benefits are fantastic, but the car to live with, is a bit meh, it doesnt feel like a premium motor at all.

I'd be looking the BMW 330E, which uses a tried and tested engine.

They currently don't offer the coupe in the C350 - so I ended up with a C250d Amg line premium spec with upgrade on the alloys to 19" - which gave the spec level that I need to survive the trauma of M6 roadworks for the next 12 months at a decent BIK tax rate.

That center dash bit doesn't look nearly as cheap and glossy plastic as my mates saloon does. Is it a different spec for the coupe? Different material, or just different finish?

To be fair, my mate loves it, but I thought it completely cheapened the car. That more matte like finish looks better. I'm now wondering about the "feel" of it.

It's a stained ash / wood finish that's standard at this level but is avail for the saloon as that was the only type I could look at prior to ordering slightly blind as the coupe wasn't out when I needed to order.

Well it’s almost time for the Mercedes to go back ( end of March ) so on Monday should be ordering a BMW 530e M sport which saves me roughly £3k in tax over the next tax year.
