The EU Migrant Crisis

Just to remind everyone why the Syrians are fleeing their country:

And going through completely safe countries to reach Germany... Yeh

Imagine if that happened to us though, wait...hold on... Germany bombed us to almost ruin in WW2, what did we do? FIGHT back!

They can only stay where they're allowed to stay. If a safe country refuses to give them asylum, they have to move on. In any case Germany explicitly invited the refugees to come, so you can hardly blame them for going there.

Imagine if that happened to us though

If it happened to you, the country would be in ruins before you knew it.

wait...hold on... Germany bombed us to almost ruin in WW2, what did we do? FIGHT back!

...with the rest of the western world at your side, while Russia rode in from the east to save your arses.

The Syrians are fleeing a 4 year civil war fought between the government, the rebels, and a large terrorist militia force. If the UK ever finds herself in that situation, let me know how it works out for you.

This, why don't they fight as hard in sandland as they do against the border Police in Europe? Why were they not so scrappy back home?

Hmmmmm....

OK, the rest of the western world except the Jonny-come-lately Yanks.

And the soviets who were allied with Germany until they done the dirty, and which point they asked us for help.

.. not forgetting Italy, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, much of Asia etc etc, and that most of our "allies" were occupied by Germany and Japan.

You mean the one that doesn't answer any of the questions you posed?

The one that said 24% said attacks can be justified on organisations that publish Muhammad cartoons, 27% had some sympathies with the Hebdo attackers, 17% said it is ok to cut off an apostate from family, 20% who say western society can never be compatible with Islam?

The 'moderate Muslim' tag the left wing media love to shove down your throat doesn't translate into very moderate views when you ask about the mixing of the sexes or if their relative said they were gay. I doubt millions of Muslims from the Middle East are going to be very progressive or modern in their views. Just because they might not support IS doesn't mean they don't hold backwards and extreme views.

It's irrelevant to whether €36/month is actually a high amount of benefits. It says a lot about the position that the author is trying to take. Perhaps you could post the source?

At the current rate I suspect it won't be long.

Question is: Will you be fighting shoulder to shoulder with us as your ancestors willingly did ?

It's quite easy to hand pick the data:
95% living in the country feel a loyalty to it.
93% believe they should obey the countries laws.

The figures you've hand picked suggest an average of 80% (a majority BTW!) That would have views I imagine are in line with yourself.

But you can see a clear disparity between these figures and this highlights the problems with surveys. They don't allow the individual to expand on their thought processes.
E.g. non Muslim media were as much critical about Charlie Hebdo "playing with a wasps nest" do they therefore sympathise with the terrorists and murder? No of course not. Surveys are yes and no answers with nothing in between. If you were truly curious you would have found plenty of journalists discuss this in more detail.

I suspect you've made up your mind like many on here and I am wasting my breath.
