So, I currently have a 2012 328i which has a 2l petrol turbo engine producing about 245bhp.
The car is coming to the end of its warranty period soon and i'm weighing up my options.

I'm not sure whether to go for a plug-in tuning kit like...

which is nearly £2k, to be honest I think in that case it's better to just go and buy a 335i.

which would have to be shipped from the states and works out at about $500.

The other option is a proper remap in which case can anyone recommend anywhere to take it in the North-East? From as far south as say Sunderland up to Alnwick? One place I had considered was theperformancecentre who are based in Sunderland but don't know anyone that's used them and there's a lack of reviews online.
 
Although personally I'm not keen on The Performance Centre (they've had several names and also recently lost their Sedox brand), they've done a cracking job on my mates 335i. The guy who runs it is a BMW owner so it seems he knows what he's doing with them, just don't take other marques to him.
