Heya thanks for the reply . Yeah i knew that but was just simply trying to buy it but it kept saying unavailable where it would normally say "buy" !

Was really looking forward to playing tnite but my virgin internet is down :( guy on the phone says there has been a hardware disconnect and an engineer has to come and sort it! Doesnt make sense :( gutted
 
Anyone been able to Gameshare the Taken King? I usually buy it on my profile on my son's Xbox One but have been reading it might only be limited to the profile that pays.

Anyone had success with similar arrangements (Xbox One)

I do this with my lad.

Set your lad's Xbox as your home Xbox and it should let him keep a license on that machine.

You effectively have a machine license, and a profile license. You automatically use your profile license when you sign in on somebody else's xbox. If you set your lad's xbox to your home one, it thinks your own xbox is somebody else's and lets you use your profile license. Your lad can then play on his using the machine license.

Worked without issues since we did this. I think its because taken king is effectively a digital game in the store's eyes, whereas the previous expansion pass was DLC which doesn't need this. Once its downloaded you don't need to worry about licenses.

Vanity can be store bought with firefly. Imago loop you have to get lucky with the drop and hope it rolls with firefly.

On the subject of Faction weapons being sought after, the next one I've heard about is the Dryrot 2.0. Its called "Burden of Proof" and is available from new monarchy.

just keep moving around the zones until you find one.

If one hasn't spawned, take all the patrol quests in each zone, and then immediately abandon them. That will refresh them.

Rinse and repeat until they appear. VIP high value target missions have always been hard to find since Day one.
 
Yeah just grab and abandon them...or you can just land on the moon, sparrow round checking the three zones, if no VIP, just go to orbit and back down again. Shouldn't take long.

Yeah the app said it was 87 so I was going to swap to NM last night and buy it but when I had a look it said 35. Guessing the app and DB are wrong!

Mind you, when you swap to extended mag on the DO scout it doesn't change in the character screen until you go back to the game then back to the screen again.

Also, my Hakke sniper which has handlaid stock says it reduces mag size but I get no reduction, still 4 in the mag. Write thinks it's a quirk of the perk % reduction, I'm not complaining! :D

I had this issue when I did this quest but I just sparrow'd to all locations and if no VIP targets were found...I just went orbit then went back down and looked to see if they spawned. Usually did altho the earth one was a pain as in I had to wait till the next day before one popped up.
 
Has anyone been lucky enough to get either an Imago Loop or a Eyasluna handcannon?

The new vendor handcannons have poor base mag size/range and no reload perk so as far as I'm concerned they're not worth bothering with. The 2 above have base stats similar to Hawkmoon/Fatebringer so they could be absolute beasts with the right perks.

Dreadnought took longest for me because I could only find one location for the VIP.
 
I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, what is with the new event in the daily pvp, daily pve, weekly, NF line up? Last night it was for a game of domination (can't remember its Destiny name) with the reward of 10 legendary marks. I did it but it didn't complete the emblem like it does for the daily/weekly/NF. I don't know how many marks I had but I think I got 10 legendary marks but it still shows a reward of 10 marks so it seems repeatable.

The logo was there last week but it was greyed out, I am wondering if it is the pvp method of earning marks which everyone questioned last week. Assuming it is infinitly repeatable, maybe Bungie didn't put it in as they didn't want people grinding pvp for marks to buy everything week 1.
 
I noticed that last night, Control wasn't it? I jumped in to grab the ten marks and actually had a reasonable game (still came last lol) and also noted that it didn't colourise and still showed marks as a reward too.
