Super Mario Maker

It'd early days, lots of people are still learning and unless you cheat the internal clock, you don't have all the tools yet either.

Most of the levels so far are people's first attempts.

I hope so, it's full of either random crap or stupid levels where you don;t actually play.

I want super meatboy levels of difficulty and level design :p

It also lists all the unlocks, and which ones you can shake/different in water etc too.

TLDR for unlocks said:
Place every item you have at least once. Also try out any new themes you unlock. This isn't essential but any little red dots next to items or themes will slow you down considerably.
Place lots of blocks, hundreds, thousands. If you hold L you will enter multi-grab mode which lets you highlight a chunk of blocks. You can place the highlighted section by holding and releasing ZL.
After around 5-15 minutes this should prompt the delivery truck to bring along you next set of items.
There is a cooling-off period of about 15 minutes where no new unlock announcements will take place after unlocking content, but placed blocks will still count towards the next unlock.

I might actually try it. One day... when I feel like driving myself insane.

I made a wall jump focused level which I'm fairly proud of and its not super difficult (10% clear rate currently I think).
The twist I introduced in the level didn't quite work out how I'd hoped so may try and refine it and make a V2 sometime.

Made my first level. It's pretty tough (Took me almost 2 hours to beat to upload it, I'm not the greatest Mario player though :D) but really happy with how it turned out.

When I was making it I was swaying back and forth as to whether I should bring the platform after the spring a tile closer but then it felt too easy :p. It's definitely possible, you need to jump at the last moment from the piranah platform so its pretty precise. You'll know you have it when you land on the second half of the trampoline. The final part was a fortunate accident, it was originally much easier as it was two tiles rather than one but when I was moving the spikes around I placed them as they are now and after seeing it worked I had to keep it!

Update released adding level creation features like checkpoints, as well as new character sprites, including Totem Link from The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.

Got this game recently i'm enjoying it but im not very good currently playing theonejat course Piranha Precision that first jump is very annoying !

Hehe ak, glad you are enjoying it. I need to spend a bit more time making a few more. PP is my first and only course as of now. Not too long but a few fiddly bits :p
 
I must admit i couldn't finish it , I got far but that first jump broke my soul I will go back it once i have some practice.
 
Check out this insanely hard level, it took him 38 hours to beat it so he could upload it
