yea that's the way I saw it too. I've never once bought a pack with real money, and don't even like buying packs with coins as the players are always rubbish, but this is like playing to earn one

I just had a really enjoyable game at lunch, I won 4-1, and I was really taking my time and using driven passes much more and it was all coming together.
As a bonus, I scored 2 goals from a corner to unlock an achievement, and one of them was this:

I have not read up at all on controls but does left-trigger make players try flair style passes now ? I used to use the Right-bumper for that in previous fifa's.
It is a bit frustrating as i will use LB for dribbling in tight spaces sometimes and now when i go to pass after the dribble i will try silly passes and gift possesion.

Ok so played for several hours last night. End of the day it's fifa, if you love that then you'll be fine. Couple of things, shooting seems better to me, already scored some great goals out of the box, as long as your player has time to set his plant foot etc. You do have to give it more welly this time around. The burst stick is a lot more useful, however speed in general has been nerfed a ton, players catch up with one another regardless. One aspect I noticed which seems worse is passing and automatic player selection. When the other team is pinging it around the comp keeps selecting players and you end up trying to switch to more appropriate players, can be a pain.
Also, played someone pretty skilful who actually used a lot of the moves and my players could barely touch him
was still a close game though.
Fut draft is a great idea, plus you do get tons of rewards (I got a jumbo gold pack and quite a lot of coins) HOWEVER what's awful is that it actually costs you coins or fifa points to enter! Couldn't believe it, 300 fifa points to enter! You do get it back if you do well, but come on its just another way to bleed us of more money.
(you get your first entrance free via a token just fyi)
