Dumb, inconsiderate Britain plunges to new depths

This ridiculous footage shows a woman blocking a tunnel for 40 minutes because 'reversing out of it would mean giving up her right of way'.

The incident took place on Forlease Road in Maidenhead and occurred when an elderly man failed to give way to the woman in his Mercedes Benz when driving into the narrow tunnel.

The woman, clearly aggrieved by the inconsiderate driving, decided to stand her ground and out of principle refused to reverse to make room for the man to pass.

From the article it states He was ¾ of the way through before she turned up.

There IS a motoring law that states we MUST give consideration to other road users. How very considerate of her !

Having said that the old gentleman certainly made a pigs ear out of that reverse !

Surely if he was two thirds through the tunnel he must have entered it before she got to it so he had right of way?

ANyway he shoudlnt be on the road if he cant reverse.

I see that the so-called journalist who wrote that article is another who doesn't know the difference between their nouns and verbs when referring to licences. Are these things not proof read before publication?

The tunnel isnt big, he would have seen her coming a long way away he just didnt have a clue.
