Hey guys,
Whats you thoughts on the nzxt h440, At the moment i have a coolermaster k380 which i hate, want something nice and better cable managment.. Whats your thoughts?

Just changed my corsair 730t for a nazxt h440 razer and love it.

Only issue is that it gets a bit toasty due to the noise dampening.

Recommended to upgrade all the fans to static pressure fans and put some in the top as well.

Looks lovely, really quiet and looks tidy

if u remove noise dampening material from front cover, you will get way more airflow :) some dude in forum did tests, and it seems to work :) good luck

I have the H440, its great case, nice and silent, absolutely awful for cooling. I have WC in mine and with the top of the case on and $ 360mm rad, temps sit at 60c easily during gaming without the top, it sits at 30c max in stress of 45c

I love the way it looks.

I hate the way it cools.

However I don't think cooling any single CPU + GPU combo would cause too much earache. I removed the mesh and front dust filter which helped reduce load temps by around 5°C in my loop. I have a front panel without any sound dampening and one with but found it didn't really affect noise or temps.

It is very well designed for a newcomer as they can easily make a great looking build inside. It is also spacious enough for an experienced user to cram a lot of water cooling in there too.

What fans do you recommend

I own one of these. My CPU has not gone over 58 (precise :D) and the GPU hasn't gone over 45 under load. CPU idles around mid to late 20s and GPU is the same.

Not really had any issues with my temps to be honest. Well I seem to think they are pretty reasonable....?

Brill, I have an i5 4670k and an r9 270x coupled with an h80i . So was hoping to get a new case to reduce my temps down a little and look much nicer

We've built a few rigs in that case for customers, I quite like it. Would be better if the front was so restrictive though.

case is ordered now, My next quest is getting the right fan setup, There so many people of different forums going on about different fans 120mm or 140mm etc and then I have a h80i which i wanted to change the fans on too. Any one got any ideas on best setup ? I like the EK-Vardar fans but not sure if a like the noctus which a lot of people saying are great, then is whats the best way to mount them

I've owned the H440 since launch, and the best 2 things you can do are:

1: Take out the metal mesh on the side and top of the case, its about 6 screws total I think, it allows lots more air!

2: Buy a large fan - I got a Noctua NF-A15 PWM 150mm fan (in a 140mm frame) and placed it just behind the graphics card(s)

There is no way of securing this fan - but the one I got wedges in place very well and hasn't ever fallen out when I move it. This really helps shift some air over the cards and keep those temps down.

I have a NZXT Kraken x60 water-cooling unit (2x 140mm fans) in the roof of the case set up so they pull air from my case - through the radiator and out the case, and also have the rear fan as an exhaust.

Just received my H440, Quick question where is the best to mount my h80i, Back top or front? I seen a few different pics online all mounted differently. My intention would be to up to a h100i shortly. or something else

Back or top not front.

Front will blow hot air onto the rest of ur other components
